We are extremely excited about this vintage of our Chardonnay. We spent many hours with it during the primary and secondary fermentations: we tucked it in at night, and gently woke it with battonage!
With less than 150 Cases--that's less than six barrels total--we fell in love with this vintage. From it's beginning as sun kissed fruit, to it's completion as a barrel fermented and sur lie aged Chardonnay, it is a delight on the palate!
For the 2017 vintage, we used a combination of medium toasted Montrachet & Ameline French Oak as well as a couple Neutral French Oak barrels.
