This is a rich, mouth-filling wine with loads of fruit, soft tannins and a long smooth finish. It is deep red to purple in color with aromas of blackberries, ripe plums, and red currants. In the mouth, the wine has a supple richness with hints of vanilla and mocha. The 2001 Vintage was an exceptional year in the Napa Valley and McKenzie-Mueller's Cabernet Sauvignon perfectly reflects the promise and expectations of that year.

The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is a well balanced wine that will age gracefully. The wine is drinkable now, but further cellaring will be rewarded. Our 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon was periodically racked, lightly egg white fined, and bottled unfiltered. The wine is available in 375ml, 750ml, 1.5L, 3L and 6L bottles.
