2002 Merlot Napa Valley, Estate Bottled

Deep ruby in color, strawberry, blackberry and blackcurrant in the aroma, this wine is full bodied yet soft, with flavors of mixed berries and cherries with a hint of spice. The fruit characters are followed by a touch of caramel and vanilla from the toasted oak, leaving a satisfying, long lasting finish.

Food pairing suggestions: Hamburger, bison, roasted chicken, turkey or Cornish game hens, ravioli with meat sauce, grilled tri-tip steak, scallops and oysters.
